Nick Sheedy
January 21 – 7PM

Unearthing the Past

Nick Sheedy has been researching family histories for more than 25 years, during which time he has been blessed with unparalleled opportunities to expand the depth and breadth of his genealogical research skills.  He has worked on a wide variety of projects, including general family histories, unknown parentage, probate cases, and large population studies for genetic medical research. For twelve years, he worked with an amazing team of genealogists, historians, researchers, and producers to create one of the most popular shows on PBS - Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates, Jr. - as the Associate Genealogist starting during production for Season 2, and then as Lead Genealogist for Seasons 7 through 11.  Nick makes his home in the Flathead Valley of Western Montana with his wife Chelsea and four sons.
