Meet the Artist
Mark your calendar for an artist reception with Susan Ballenger on Thursday, August 11 from 6PM to 8PM. Connect with the artist and explore the acrylic paintings influenced by Ballenger’s training in watercolor. This event is free and open to the public, with light refreshments served. The gallery is open for viewing Monday through Friday from 9AM to 5PM.
About the Artist
The “Best of Show” winner of the 2021 PBS KVIE Art Auction, Ballenger, a California native, earned a fine arts degree at Principia College in Illinois and continued her studies at the New England School of Art & Design and the Art Institute of Boston. A versatile and accomplished painter, Ballenger’s earlier series of landscapes, street scenes, palm trees, motor scooters, and desserts have been featured at numerous local galleries. Ballenger also won an award of merit in the California State Fair Fine Arts competition.
