About the Artist
Ed Forrest’s work won an award in the contemporary category in the 2021 PBS KVIE Art Auction, and he had solo exhibitions at Beatnik Studios and at the Be Cool Club in 2021. His former career restoring stone, marble, and tile are evident in the colorful shapes that seem to almost ricochet off his large oil paintings. A longtime East Sacramento resident, Ed’s studio is in constant use, as he paints a good part of every day.
