Experience the Exhibition
Explore the artworks of Polly LaPorte at the PBS KVIE Gallery! The exhibition runs through March 31 and features 28 paintings by the artist. Expressive lines, vivid colors, and loose brushwork bring a fresh appeal to her work. Most recently, Polly won a Curator’s Award in the 2022 PBS KVIE Art Auction. Polly's self-titled exhibition features her signature vivid palette in still lifes, plein air landscapes, and more! The Gallery is open Monday – Friday, 9AM to 5PM.
About the Artist
Polly LaPorte was lucky to have Ethel Pierce Nerger, a San Francisco artist, as her grandmother and Wayne Thiebaud as an instructor while she earned her BFA at UC Davis. Even as a child, Polly’s art won blue ribbons! She attended art camps and chose graphic and broadcast design as her profession. After leaving her position as Art Director at ABC affiliate News10 in Sacramento in 2014, Polly dedicated herself to the daily painting movement, studying with local master artists.
