Gioia Fonda
Contemporary
Gioia Fonda is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in twodimensional media (painting, drawing, sewing, and photography), with occasional forays in sculpture, social practice, and public art. Regardless of media, she tends to work in a colorful and nonobjective manner, but just under the surface, her work is often imbued with storytelling and narrative. She has a bi-coastal art education, having earned a BFA from California College of the Arts and an MFA from School of Visual Arts in New York. Fonda is a dedicated member of the Sacramento art community, contributing as an artist, curator, juror, and collaborator. She is also a tenured professor of art at Sacramento City College, where she teaches painting, drawing, and design.
D Neath

D Neath is a co-founder of Second Saturday and has been part of the Sacramento arts community for more than 40 years. She managed the Solomon Dubnick Gallery for seven years, served as president of the Center for Contemporary Art for three years, and has been the owner and director of Archival Gallery since 1983. Neath was the art curator for PBS KVIE from 2009 – 2019, and supports fundraising and awareness for the Artists in Crisis Fund, and is a co-founder of Chalk it Up! and UnOpen Studios. Neath is a guest curator and art judge for regional exhibitions, serves on the Crocker Art Museum art auction committee, and contributes to Good Day Sacramento’s visual arts news stories. Neath also appears on air for the PBS KVIE Art Auction.
Cecily Hastings

Cecily Hastings is the founder and publisher of Inside Sacramento, the region’s premier local community news publication. Hastings oversees full arts coverage for her four monthly publications, which reach 80,000 homes. Original art is featured on every edition’s cover.
Aniko Kiezel
Photography
Aniko Kiezel is a freelance photographer who contributes monthly to Inside Sacramento, along with various other magazines and personal clients. She operates a studio where she captures portraits and undertakes personal projects for commissions, art shows, and galleries. With years of experience as a print producer in Los Angeles for the entertainment industry and advertising agencies, Kiezel transitioned to full-time photography after relocating to Sacramento 13 years ago.
Ianna Nova Frisby
Sculpture
Ianna Nova Frisby is a Sacramento ceramic artist and art professor at Sacramento City College. Although ceramics is her primary focus, her practice includes textiles, pysanka, printmaking, and mixed-media sculpture. She is the co-creator of the Art Advice Booth, a nomadic project that began in 2016 and was featured in Sactown Magazine. In the past, she co-managed and curated monthly art exhibitions at Tangent Gallery in Sacramento.
Nisa Hayden

Nisa Hayden is currently a co-curator at Twisted Track Gallery in downtown Sacramento. For the past 13 years, she has had the good fortune to showcase the phenomenal work of many local artists, as well as those from other parts of California and the U.S. She previously managed the Alex Bult Gallery, Beatnik Studios, and the Tim Collom Gallery. For the past nine years, she has served as director and exhibition curator of Trinity Art Show, a national juried exhibition sponsored by Trinity Cathedral and held each October at Lexis Gallery in midtown Sacramento. Hayden is the owner of Hayden Arts Agency, an artist representation and consulting firm.
