About Be My Neighbor Day

Be My Neighbor Day is a free, family-friendly event that celebrates kindness and the importance of being a caring neighbor. Throughout the event, you’ll be able to:

• Complete hands-on crafts and activities inspired by Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood
• Participate in community acts of kindness and write thank you notes to community helpers
• Collect stamps around the event and win PBS KIDS-themed prizes

Registration

While Be My Neighbor Day is free, space is limited and registration is required.

Daniel Tiger Meet-and-Greet

Time slots for the Daniel Tiger Meet-and-Greet are limited and first come, first served. When you register to attend the event, you will be asked to sign up for a meet-and-greet time slot during registration on Eventbrite.

To ensure that everyone in your time slot has the time and opportunity to participate in a meet-and-greet with Daniel Tiger, you will only be able to meet Daniel Tiger during your selected time slot. You can enjoy the other activities that are part of Be My Neighbor Day throughout the time of the event, from 10AM through 2PM.

Location & Parking

PBS KVIE is located at 2030 W. El Camino Ave. Sacramento, CA 95833. PBS KVIE offers one of the most convenient parking options among Sacramento area venues. Event parking is free, accessible, and close to the venue.

Food & Drink

The event will provide complimentary water bottles, and snacks will be available for purchase.
