The American Revolution Preview Screening

PBS KVIE held a preview screening of The American Revolution, a new film by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein, and David Schmidt! Attendees enjoyed select clips from the new film, alongside a raffle, a themed photo opportunity, and a special drum and fife performance from Haslet’s Delaware Regiment. The screening was followed by a discussion with historian Alan Taylor, Ph.D, who worked as an advisor and interviewee in the film!

Alan Taylor, Ph.D. served as an advisor and interviewee for the new film and is the Thomas Jefferson Foundation Chair, Emeritus, in the Department of History at the University of Virginia and Professor Emeritus in the History Department at UC Davis.
