PBS KVIE has a long tradition of volunteers donating their time, energy, and passion to station programming and engagement efforts. Events Crew – PBS KVIE has several annual and seasonal activities facilitated by the Community Engagement team alongside other departments. We enlist the support of volunteers to assist with registration, food and beverage service, set-up/tear-down, and other guest services.
Arts Crew – PBS KVIE holds an annual art auction and maintains a gallery space throughout the year. Volunteers assist with various projects such as art intake, awards jury set up, and reception support. During the art auction we also rely heavily on phone bank volunteers to facilitate bidding for art buyers.
Community Outreach – PBS KVIE participates in multiple fairs, festivals, and other kids and family events throughout the year. We love having volunteers join us for tabling in the community, interacting with families, facilitating arts and crafts activities with kids, and handing out prizes.
