Artist Reception on Thursday, January 15, 5 – 7PM

Artist Keith Bachmann brings more than 20 paintings of beloved Sacramento scenes to the PBS KVIE Gallery this winter. “Morning Tower Bridge” offers an angled view with saturated color and appears to be lit from within. In addition to nine different views of this iconic bridge, Bachmann's exhibition includes detailed paintings of the Crocker Art Museum and earlier works with thick impasto featuring the McKinley Park Rose Garden and the American River. Smaller figurative works include dynamic images of the Sacramento Kings in play. Focused on art since childhood, Bachmann studied with local luminaries Gregory Kondos and Fred Dalkey, among others, and continues to interpret local scenes in paintings prized by collectors.

The PBS KVIE Gallery is pleased to present this collection, now on view in the PBS KVIE lobby. The PBS KVIE Gallery is open Monday – Friday, 9AM – 5PM (except holidays). For sales and inquiries, email arts@kvie.org or call 916-641-3663. All art is available for purchase with proceeds benefiting the artist and PBS KVIE. All sales are final.
