Artist Reception
Meet the artist and experience the exhibition during a special reception on Thursday, November 4 from 6PM – 8PM in the PBS KVIE Gallery. In accordance with Sacramento County guidelines, guests are required to wear facial coverings indoors, regardless of vaccination status.
About the Artist
Marie Gonzales is an American with roots in Hawaii and Japan. She was born and raised in Yokohama, Japan. After moving to Hawaii in 2005, she started painting with pastels. Now residing in Sacramento County, she continues painting in pastels and submitting to art shows and competitions. She has taken classes from Wayne Takazono, Barry Jamison, Margot Schulzke, Gerald Boyd, Tina Moore, and Dug Waggoner.
The PBS KVIE Gallery is pleased to present Pastel World a selection of Marie Gonzales' artworks, now on view in the PBS KVIE lobby Monday through Friday from 9AM to 5PM.
