Monitored exercise to test heart and breathing stress, Cardio-Pulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET), has long helped adult patients and their doctors make more informed decisions about treatment. Now, young patients are deriving the same beneficial treatment at UC Davis Children's Hospital. It's one of a handful of hospitals in California applying CPET with special high-tech exercise bikes to children.
