No. It is up to you to decide whether or not to activate PBS KVIE Passport. You can still watch plenty of videos on your computer, smartphone, tablet or smart TV without it. PBS KVIE Passport offers station donors extended on-demand access to a rich library of quality public television programming.
You only need to activate PBS KVIE Passport once. If your membership lapses and then you renew, your Passport access will be re-enabled and you will be able to use the same login information as before.
If you’re already a KVIE member, please go online to access your PBS KVIE Passport token information. If you receive an error or run into trouble using this form, please contact us. If you do not currently contribute, please become a member and receive access to PBS KVIE Passport.
You can watch PBS KVIE Passport programs online or on your smart phone, tablet, and smart TV by downloading the PBS App.
PBS KVIE Passport is a member benefit that gives eligible donors and supporters extended access to an on-demand library of quality public television programming online. The PBS KVIE Passport library currently offers members thousands of episodes to watch, with new PBS and KVIE programs being added weekly. Look for the compass rose icon to see which programs and episodes are available with Passport.
Passport is available to members donating $60 per year or more or $5 per month or more. You can join today online. In addition to unlocking additional content on the PBS app, your donation will also help PBS KVIE serve our community of Northern California through media that educates, inspires, and entertains.

As always, PBS Kids content can be found on the PBS Kids website or on the PBS Kids App. At this time, there are no plans to incorporate PBS Kids content into PBS KVIE Passport.
