The 2017 Art Auction Jurors
Micah Crandall-Bear is one of northern California’s brightest new stars- exhibiting internationally as well as in private galleries in Palm Springs, Sacramento and San Francisco. His work is in many corporate collections including Facebook, The University of California, Davis and Paragary’s.
Boyd Gavin has a Master’s Degree in art (California State University, Sacramento) and has exhibited widely since his debut at the Crocker Art Museum at the age of 16. He has exhibited in the John Natsoulas Gallery, Caldwell Snyder in San Francisco, and has work in the permanent collection of The Crocker Art Museum.

David Sobon is a well-known auctioneer, a popular mainstay of many successful fundraising events and auctions for local non-profits in our area. He is also a long-time collector and connoisseur of the California Landscape.
Miles Hermann exhibited most recently at the Tim Collom Gallery in Sacramento, and previously in the Pence Art Gallery. His work is collected on a national level and he was mentored by Gregory Kondos before attending the College of Arts and Crafts.
Patrick O’Kane has owned and operated Cali Color in Sacramento for over 25 years. Cali Color was one of the first fine art print shops to feature scanning and printing for local professional artists and top photographers. Patrick has a keen eye for photography as well as a substantial background in the technical aspects of fine art photography.
Dr. Lee Kavaljian is a professor at Sacramento State and has a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. In his 90s Lee continues to exhibit his ceramic works in both private galleries and public museums. His work is widely collected and he is well respected by generations of local ceramicists.
