When most people consider giving to support public broadcasting, they think of making a pledge and writing a check. We receive many generous gifts this way each year. But there are other ways people make a difference by supporting KVIE. A special giving program called Legacy Circle is an honorary way in which friends of KVIE can plan a bequest gift. Or, you may choose to a make a gift of stock, real estate, life insurance, or consider establishing a trust.
Other ways to give include participating in the Raley's and Bel Air Quality of Life card program, asking your employer to enroll in our Matching Gifts Program, or by donating a used car, truck, boat, or motorcycle to our used vehicle program.
Browse through the Support section of our Web site for more details about each of these initiatives.

Charitable Gift Annuity
Worried about your retirement funds? Consider the safety of a KVIE gift annuity (also known as a charitable gift annuity). It’s easy, uncomplicated – and the return rate is guaranteed.
Example: when an 81-year-old commits $25,000 to a KVIE charitable gift annuity, she/he gets a guaranteed 7.8 percent fixed return ($1,950) every year for the rest of her life. Plus there’s a nice tax deduction, and most of the income is tax-free.
At the end of her life, the remaining principal becomes a gift to KVIE, ensuring that future generations can explore new worlds and ideas through public television.
The minimum amount is $10,000, and the rate is based on the donor’s age.
