Host Mailha Yang and videographer Rich Enos capture elements for an upcoming episode.

KVIE's programming philosophy is to air and create programs that reflect the community back to itself. In doing so, our productions reflect our rich history, introduce us to the people and places in the present, and help us plan for the future.

In addition to our productions America's Heartland, California Heartland, Central Valley Chronicles, and California Connected, we are proud of the range of relevant, compelling and diverse programs that we've produced this year.

And, we're particularly proud that we earned 10 Emmy Awards in 2004, more than any other station in our market.

Wall Street Week with Fortune

Wall Street Week with Fortune airs on KVIE-HD Saturdays at 6 AM.

Wall $treet Week has relaunched as Wall $treet Week with Fortune. The editorial partnership with Fortune allows PBS to bring additional journalistic resources to the long-standing and widely acclaimed Wall $treet Week series. Geoffrey Colvin, an editor and columnist for Fortune, is scheduled to appear as a co-anchor of the new series.

The investor community has changed dramatically since WALL $TREET WEEK began more than 30 years ago. The new version of the show is a reflection of changes in the size, involvement and expectations of that community. We're confident that when you tune in to WAll $TREET WEEK WITH FORTUNE you'll find a program that pleases you on many, even if not all, levels and that it will provide you with the same values that WAll $TREET WEEK has maintained in years past.

Change is a process that often involves some discomfort, and we realize that you may be feeling discomfort with elements of this transition. But change must happen if we are to fulfill our mission of serving today's viewers. We ask only that you will withhold final judgment of this change for a few months until you've had a chance to see the new show. We believe it will provide you with the information, relevance, perspective and character you have always found in WALL $TREET WEEK over the years.
