CHOOSE YOUR FAVORITE WORK OF ART
Settle in and watch the KVIE Art Auction or view the artwork online to see each work of art up-for-bid. Note the date and time that your favorite pieces are scheduled to air, then call to bid.
BIDDING
Bidding is conducted by telephone. It is suggested that you tune in 30 minutes before your artwork comes up-for-bid to enjoy the live studio action and be ready to call in.
Listen for the auctioneer to announce that the bidding has begun on the piece you’d like to bid on.
Dial (800) 270-6601 and give the volunteer your Speed Bid number. If you did not register in advance for a Speed Bid number, it will take approximately 1.5 minutes to record your information each time you call to bid. We will need a major credit card number in order to accept your bid.
Be ready to bid high and often. The auction moves quickly. Most pieces are sold within 4 minutes.
CONFIRMATION
If you’re the highest bidder when an item closes, one of our volunteers will call you back to confirm your bid. We recommend you stay close to your phone until your purchase is confirmed. Confirmation calls will be made until bidding closes each night.
PICK UP & PAY
Confirmed bidders can pick up purchases at our KVIE Studios, Saturday and Sunday, September 27-28 from noon until 9:00 pm, Monday and Tuesday, September 29–30, 9:00 am until 6:00 pm. [GET DIRECTIONS]
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. If you prefer, you can pay with cash or by check.
For your convenience, for an additional fee, shipping or hand-deliveries can be arranged.
GET YOUR SPEED BID # FOR QUICK & EASY BIDDING
Sign up at the Art Auction preview party or call (916) 641-3663 to obtain a number to use throughout the Auction. Once you’ve registered, your personal speed bid number simplifies the bidding process.
