Gayle Rappaport-Weiland
Gayle Rappaport-Weiland is a local artist, teacher and art consultant. She works in a mixture of acrylic, watercolor, and rice paper. She focuses on color unity in her work to create vibrancy. She studied art in New York and taught at Sierra and American River Community Colleges. She has been the cover artist for the 1999 Placer County Art Tour. Her work has been juried into the KVIE Art Auction for the past 10 years, and she has appeared on-air as both an art commentator and demonstrator. She is affiliated with galleries throughout Northern California.
