The 2018 Art Auction Jurors

Contemporary Classics
Robert Bowen is a contemporary artist based in the bay area who has exhibited in New York, Los Angeles and extensively in the Bay area. He has shown locally with the Solomon Dubnick Gallery.

Figurative
Jeff Musser has a BFA from the Art Institute in Chicago and is widely known for his expressive figures and his twist on realism. He has exhibited internationally and most recently completed a mural for the “Wide Open Walls” celebration in Sacramento. He has appeared as an art expert in past KVIE Art Auctions.

Landscapes (includes California's Gold)
Bob Miller is well known for his brilliant renderings of the Sacramento Valley. He has served on the board at the Crocker Art Museum and has been a long time participant in the KVIE Art Auction. His work is included in many public and private collections.

Still Life
Carrie Cottini is a Sacramento based artist who is now living in the Bay Area and works at the DeYoung Museum. She received her art degree from Humboldt State University. A former employee at Sacramento’s Crocker Museum, she has exhibited recently in San Francisco and is a past KVIE Art Auction Artist.

Photography
Wes Davis is a Sacramento based photographer and co-owner of Beatnik Gallery in Sacramento. He does fine art photography as well as commissions and plays in a local band.

Sculpture
Richard Feese received his Masters from California State University, Sacramento. He also taught at the university and has shown locally with the B.Sakata Garo and Archival Gallery. He is well known for his nature themed sculptures made from found objects. Feese has won many awards including Best of Show at the American River Salmon Festival and was a featured artist on KVIE Arts Showcase.
