KVIE's programming philosophy is to air and create programs that reflect the community back to itself. In doing so, our productions reflect our rich history, introduce us to the people and places in the present, and help us plan for the future.
In addition to our productions America's Heartland, California Heartland, and ViewFinder we are proud of the range of relevant, compelling and diverse programs that we've produced this year.

KVIE is proud to offer a tour program as part of our outreach efforts.
Come see how television is made and transmitted. Visit one of the largest
television studios in Northern California.
Tour groups should be at least 10 people in size and no larger than
20. The length of the tour will depend on the age of the group, ranging
from 30 minutes to 1 1/2 hours.
Here are some tips for scheduling your tour:
- Tours should be reserved 4-6 weeks in advance.
- Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays are the best day. We are unable
to conduct weekend tours.
- Tour participants must be at least 4 years old and mature enough
to handle the tour experience.
