KVIE and PBS resources for educators are designed to engage all learners and encourage the development of 21st century skills. PreK-12 educators can access thousands of FREE, standards-based, interactive lesson plans, online activities, and on-demand video assets from KVIE and PBS. More>
Through the broadcast of programs such as Sesame Street and Arthur, families across the Central Valley know they can trust KVIE to provide quality educational experiences for their children. In addition, we provide families with trusted child development information, activity ideas, healthy recipes, and more. More>
KVIE serves the Central Valley through direct community engagement. This includes resource tables at community events and conferences throughout the region. In addition, we invite the community to our studios for special events, including heritage celebrations, preview screenings of new local productions, and more. More>
KVIE offers free, interactive, content-rich workshops for parents, caregivers, and educators of preschool and school-age children. Included in this program is a children’s book distribution component. Reaching over 30,000 children in 2011, our program exemplifies KVIE’s commitment to inspiring a lifelong love of learning in every child.
