Responsibilities/Duties:
Directing, producing, script writing, graphic animation, and taping of short-form promotional content for KVIE media outlets, underwriter messages, and content for external clients.
Execute creative concepts that promote station strategies.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum intermediate ability to use the following:
Video production equipment: non-linear editing.
Graphic software for the development of graphics and animations for television.
Final Cut Pro. Knowledge of Final Cut Pro Server desirable but not required.
Experience in broadcast video and/or commercial design.
In-depth knowledge of current trends in video production, marketing, and graphic presentation in the local market and nationally.
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to work independently, set priorities, and communicate priorities to individuals.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public.
Clear understanding of brand image and demographic and psychographics.
Ability to maintain accurate and clear records and prepare reports.
Effective project management and workflow techniques.
Education/Experience:
A higher education degree in a field related to Mass Communications, Film, Journalism, Communications, or equivalent experience.
Four (4) + years experience in video production and editing using Final Cut Pro.
Four (4) + years experience using Adobe After Effects or comparable animation software for television graphic design.
Four (4) + years experience using Adobe Photoshop.
