it plays an important role in my life and that of our community. Public television consistently informs and entertains me and my family. My grandchildren are learning Spanish from Dora the Explorer and other children's programming. I learn from NOVA, American Experience, and other programs. In our increasingly complicated world, I depend on The NewsHour for objective and in-depth reporting on national and world events. KVIE’s own programs—America’s Heartland, Studio Sacramento, and Rob on the Road—enlighten me on public issues and the fun of traveling our state. KVIE offers all this for free to our community which is why I support it.
